Based in the beautiful West Sussex countryside, we construct traditionally styled shepherd’s huts using sustainable, durable materials and techniques.
At Shepherd’s Huts Sussex we are passionate about choosing only high quality materials and are extremely proud of each individual shepherd’s hut we have created to date. From the cast iron wheels to the semi-seasonsed oak chassis, our shepherd’s huts are of the highest quality and for that reason we offer a wide range of high-spec additions as standard. Whilst we can adapt our design to suit your requirements, we are committed to ensuring each of our huts are built to the same high standard of craftsmanship.
We welcome any ideas or designs, and enjoy working closely with clients so we can understand their tastes and preferences to create their perfect space. We provide layout drawings and designs free of charge as part of the consultation process and we embrace a challenge, so let your imagination go wild! We also encourage all of our clients, where possible, to visit us at our workshop to see how their shepherd’s hut is coming along and to have a cup of tea with us.
Shepherd’s Huts Sussex – Made in Sussex, Built to Last
“As a boy I loved nothing more than to spend hours in the shed aimlessly nailing old offcuts of timber. Naturally I decided to carry on nailing pieces of timber (not so aimlessly!) at college. After 3 years of study I started my career working for a prestigious building company who specialise in the renovation of listed and period properties. Over the years I have been able to hone my skills using traditional construction methods and materials.”
